Markets blew the eff up this week, which has been much needed after a month of moving sideways. Outside of BTC breaking a new ATH (up over 9%), most coins just worked their way back to where they were a month ago. Hopefully rising tides from BTC can lift all boats. Bitcoin continues to widen the gap against other tokens. Eth had a big week as well, as Trad Fi has decided to change its view on ETH as a store of value. Total crypto market cap raised by 11% this week in a huge move up.

The biggest news of the week in Solana was the Pump (@pumpdotfun) ICO. People claimed they wouldn’t buy it, went back and forth and it sold out in 12 minutes! The majority was bought onchain, while a slew of CEX’s had issues handling the sale. Meanwhile, the Solana blockchain handled it with a massive gas spike up to $0.03! They raised $500 million in 12 minutes. Out of the $500 million raised, $448M was raised onchain, with only $52M raised through centralized exchanges.

• If you type in the token contract address in Jupiter, you’ll see no routes found.
• Trading should begin on Monday. Don’t swap for other fake tokens.
• Rumors are going around that the max airdrop amount will be around $2000 for people who qualify. No specifics have been released on how to qualify
Phantom (@phantom) added Perps, powered by @HyperliquidX directly into the wallet. 100+ markets. Up to 40x leverage. Of course, it’s not available to people in the USA. I tried using a VPN and they busted me for being on a VPN. Hopefully we get perps in the USA soon. The interface they built looks really smooth. Phantom Perps already crossed $120M in total volume in 4 days.
Yields for stables are really strong right now across dapps. Drift Insurance vault for USDC is above 12%. @uselulo looking juicy right now too. Zeus Network (@ZeusNetworkHQ) did an airdrop that most people active on Solana qualify for, with each claim being about $0.30 of zBTC. You can check your claim at https://btcsol.co/
• BTC is BTC. When will staking open up for whitelisted addresses? Soon™. You will be able to stake SOL and get rewards in zBTC.
As always, @JupiterExchange announced some projects in the pipeline. They “aren’t” making their own L1 with JupNet. It’s an omnichain execution layer to be able to trade tokens across @solana, @base, @arbitrum, @SuiNetwork from one wallet…I’m assuming Jup Wallet.
